A peculiar garden. Iznik Pottery. 16th century October 8, 2012 – Marh 3, 2013 Calouste Gulbenkian (1869-1955) was a significant Armenian businessman and art collector who joined an unusual collection of European paintings, Ottoman art and French decorative arts which can be seen at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. The Museum of Ceramics will present for the first time in Spain, a selection of Iznik pottery which stands out for its rich and vibrant polychromy and for the variety of ornamental flowers being native of Turkey.
